more pictures! how exciting!
We're FINALLY getting on the road to Malaysia today, although the offer to stay here still stands, and with the good conversation, adorable hilarious child (most recently enamored of a green balloon and ohmigosh a child with a balloon is the best entertainment ever), delicious food (another feast last night - details to follow), and drinkable tap water, i admit it is tempting. but one week in singapore is longer than we intended, and the rest of southeast asia awaits. Our lovely hosts have been kind enough to lend us the use of their 'puter though, so here they are folks: pictures from our last week in Sydney as well as this week in Singapore.
Instant gratification
Enjoy!
I'd write more about politics, religion, and kids with balloons, but we have to go make some french toast and then hit the road, jack. so i'll try and fill all that in later (along with food details, of course).

Thanks for the call that you'd arrived safely in Malaysia...that really does help. It must be such a turn-around from your Pacific trip. The pictures WERE instant gratification- thank you- and you look terrific. But I need to know, as I'm sure your loyal readers also do, what is the significance of the last photo "the anxious fish"???
Looking forward to more info on your last feast with your friends in Singapore, and the your upcoming stays. Meeting some more young travelers will also be a welcome change, I'm sure, so your stay at a group home should also be fun.
Love and hugs, mom
D'oh, I was going to make an anxious fish comment too but Trudy beat me to it.
I saw the SimCity-ness of Singapore from above though, and agree.

Thanks for the photos. They are terrific. I'm looking forward to reading more of your adventures in Singapore and now Malaysia. What a trip!
