welcome y'all, to my blog.

I feel strange (and kind of excited) that I have a blog. I feel strange (and kind of excited) that I have a blog and have given the address to others so that they can come and read my blog.

In any case, I likely won't write in this very often until I'm on the road because right now I don't have all that much to say except the following: I am pretty nervous (and pretty excited) that I am going on this trip. I know in the front of my brain that it's going to be wonderful and challenging and enriching and all of that good stuff, but the back of my brain is going crazy with hypothetical crises. In any case...
